Application of Light-Activated Biomaterials in 3D Bioprinting
Description
This talk will cover the application of light-activated hydrogels in a number of 3D bioprinting technologies. Specific design criteria such as light intensity, irradiation time and photoinitiator concentration will be included. Furthermore, the adaptation of light-based bioprinting in fabricating constructs with high resolution features will be discussed, in relation to a number of regenerative medicine applications (cartilage, bone and vascularisation).
